September, WOW!

The past few months have been a whilrwind.

I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag and explain the "Medical Issues". Our lives were impacted by cancer. The whole discovery process started back in March, and has just now been completed, and as far as we can tell, there is no more cancer. Chalk one up for early detection and good medical care.

So now Marlisa and I are going to try to play catch-up. Editing tasks have been on the back burner for a couple months now, but as of a couple weeks ago, I'm back at it every waking hour of my day.

A few weeks ago, I had a call from a recent graduate of Madison Media Institute. He was looking for editing work, and Monday, he interviewed with me. Hopefully the addition of a second (third really if you count Marlisa) will help us get out from under the pile of editing. (Thank you GOD for sending him our way!)

I'm looking forward to having another set of creative eyes editing our weddings!

It's been a few months

Sorry everyone, I know I've not made any more entries since the first one. We've been undergoing some medical issues in our immediate family for the past two months, and my focus has been with my family, not the BLOG, website or anything else. I've often said, "family comes first", and in this instance, my family really needed me!

I'll try to do a few entries in the next few weeks, so hang in there with me will you?

My first BLOG entry

BLOGGING, WOW! I never thought I'd be doing my own BLOG. Where do I start? Each entry will be a new experience for me and everyone who reads it.

In the coming months and years, I hope to commuincate our company's philosopy toward our wedding and event video customers as well as our equipment and consulting customers.

I might even entertain you with stories about our two Golden Retrievers (daughter and mother). If I run out of things to say/post (anyone who knows me would find that statement VERY funny), I may even entertain you with an occasional motorcycle travelogue.

I hope through this BLOG, you'll get to know the people behind the scenes at MRG Video.
